Joseph R. Mansfield

Joseph R. Mansfield, of Doylestown PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 7, 2023. He was 95.

Joe was born November 20, 1928 in Philadelphia PA and proudly served in the US Army in the Korean War, of which he would share many stories. He had a career spanning many years in the publishing and bookbinding industry. Joe was preceded in death by his loving wife, Emma, to whom he was married to for over 65 years.

Joe was a devoted husband to Emma, a loving father to his three daughters, Elaine McAllister, Sheryl Smailer (Charles) and Maureen Doyle (Joseph) and a doting grandfather to Wayne Dellmyer (Kristina), Erin McGeever (John), Liam McAllister (Katie) and Joseph M. Doyle. Joe was preceded in death by his grandson Matthew Smailer. He is also survived by his great grandchildren Ava and Madeline McGeever and Declan and Ada McAllister.

Joe was fun-loving, and he enjoyed spending time with family, vacations in Ocean City, Maryland, cruises and boating, hosting family gatherings, making furniture, completing home improvement projects, and gardening.

Joseph was also preceded in death by his eight siblings, Florence, Rita, Kathleen, Mary, Virginia, Raymond, George and Elizabeth.
