It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of William Nicholas Roeder. Nick passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2026, at the age of 50. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and devotion that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him. Born on April 4, 1976, to Linda Mudie and “Skip” (William) Roeder, Nick grew up with a warm spirit and an adventurous nature. He graduated from Cheltenham High School and went on to build a career as a skilled Stone Mason with the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local 1, where he took great pride in his craftsmanship.

Nick embraced life wholeheartedly. He found joy in music, cooking for family and friends, gardening, fishing, hiking, rockhounding, and was always on board for a new adventure or spontaneous road trip. He had a gift for making others laugh and creating memories that friends and family will cherish forever. Those who knew him will remember his generous heart, quick wit, and contagious laugh.

Above all else, Nick’s greatest pride and deepest joy was being a father to his son, Benjamin (8). His love for Benjamin was unwavering and unconditional, and the memories they shared will remain a lasting source of comfort, strength, and inspiration throughout Benjamin’s life.

Nick is survived by his beloved wife of 12 years, Marisa Roeder (née Presuto); his cherished son, Benjamin; his mother, Linda Mudie; his stepmother, Mary Roeder; his stepsiblings, Charlene Crawford and Fred Pleis and innumerable family and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Skip Roeder, and his stepfather, Charles Mudie.

Though his time with us was far too short, Nick's impact on the lives of others was immeasurable. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In lieu of flowers or other gifts, memorial contributions may be made to his son Benjamin’s educational fund, carrying forward his father’s wish to provide Benjamin with the opportunity to attend college and pursue his aspirations. https://gofund.me/9a15fff6e
