Troy Foley
May 16, 1984 – June 5, 2025
Troy Foley, a cherished husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly due to medical complications on June 5, 2025, in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. He was 41 years old.
Born on May 16, 1984, in Bristol, Pennsylvania, Troy lived a life filled with humor, love, and adventure, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Troy dedicated many years of his career to Wades Comic Madness, where his passion for comic books flourished. He relished the opportunity to read new items ahead of his loyal customers, providing insightful recommendations before the books hit the shelves. His enthusiasm for storytelling went beyond the pages of his beloved comics; Troy was renowned for his infectious laughter and masterful ability to gift unforgettable nicknames, a tradition that enriched his friendships over the years. His knack for joke-telling could light up any room, leaving friends in stitches until tears streamed down their faces. Even years later, he cherished the inside jokes that created tight bonds among friends. Once you were a friend of Troy’s, you were a friend for life.
Above all else, Troy was a devoted family man. His proudest role was being a father to Maximus and Josie, and a loving husband to Dana. He cherished the magical moments spent with them and others, particularly during their adventures to Disney World, a place close to his heart, though he would playfully insist he wasn’t a "Disney Adult." These trips created memories that would last a lifetime. In fact, many of his favorite moments of life were tattooed on his skin, each one a tribute to the experiences he valued and treasured.
Troy also had a deep love for fishing, often traveling up and down the East Coast in search of the next great spot with his father and brothers. He would gladly bring along anyone willing to join him on these serene outings. The thrill of the catch was rivaled only by the pleasure he found in spending quality time with loved ones, while boasting about who caught the largest fish. Watching sports was also something Troy was a phanatic about. A hometown guy who loved his hometown teams- Go Birds!
Troy is survived by his beloved wife, Dana Foley; his children, Maximus Francis and Josie James Foley (their mother, Courtney); his father, Francis X. Foley II; his brothers, Francis Foley (Tracy) and James Foley (Briana); his grandparents, Jean and James Forsythe; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and a nephew, all of whom will forever cherish his one-of-a-kind personality and radiant spirit.
He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Lisa Forsythe, to whom he remained a steadfast source of support.
As we mourn Troy’s sudden passing, we also celebrate the joy he brought into our lives. May his laughter echo in our memories and his stories live on in our hearts.
