Susan C. Maddocks

Our beloved mother, Susan Carol Maddocks (nee Kueny), age 76, passed away peacefully at home with her daughter Shannon and daughter-in-law Karen by her bedside.

Mom was born and raised in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia where she was the youngest of seven children.  She attended St. Anne's Grammar School and Hallahan High School.  Mom then married but was both a mother and father to her children and raised them in Philadelphia and Croydon, PA.

Mom was an amazingly beautiful soul, inside and out.  She had the biggest heart, always wanting to do for others.  She was kind, generous, loving, caring, silly at times with a great sense of humor.

Mom enjoyed listening to her oldies, like Bobby Darren and Frankie Vallie, but also had a pretty awesome playlist of many different genres.  She enjoyed watching her horror films and vampire movies and anything to do with suspense.

But the thing she loved the most was spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies and great grandbabies.  The pure joy and light on her face when she saw any one of them was enough to brighten up the sky!  Her life would not have been the same without them!

Mom was predeceased by her parents, Francis J. Kueny and Catherine M. Kueny (nee Clerkin); her brothers, Bill, Bob, and Frank; and her children, Megan, Garry, and Christina.  She is survived by her sisters, Margaret "Peggy," Lillian "Sissy," her brother-in-law Steve, and her brother Gary, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends who will all miss her dearly.

Mom is also survived by her son Brian Moore, her daughters Shannon Kelly and Morghan Kelly, her daughter-in-law Karen Moore; her grandchildren, Brian, Taylor, Anthony, Joshua, Gabrielle, Connor, Dylan, Arianna, Halle, Mason, and Charlee; and her great grandchildren, Hayden, Paisley, MaeLee, Brian III, Anthony, Anastasia, Airabella, CJ, TJ, and Carter.

A celebration of life will be held in Mom's memory on Tuesday, July 14 @ 11:00 a.m., at the Falls Township Community Park, Pavilion B, located at 9050 Mill Creek Road, Levittown, PA 19054.  The service will be given by the family's cousin, Kevin Bernard.  Immediately after the service, lunch will be served.
