Silvio "Sal" N. Capozio

October 22, 1945 — February 19, 2026

Ft Washington PA

In loving memory of Silvio “Sal” Capozio, born October 22, 1945, passed February 19, 2026 at age 80. Raised in South Philadelphia, Sal was a beloved husband to Elaine, devoted father to Jason, and cherished Pop-pop to Dalla and Brenna. He is also survived by his brother Angelo Capozio. Sal shared a deep bond with his late twin brother Joey and was the son of Josephine and Silvio Capozio. A skilled hairdresser, he made people feel and look their best. As a proud Mummer, he brought joy with his banjo marching in the New Year’s Day Parade for decades. Sal was also a professional bass guitarist, sharing his music far and wide bringing joy to all. Often with a grin, he’d say, “The bitch of it is,” but his love for his family, his nieces and nephews and his friends was always at the heart of it. Sal’s warmth, humor, kindness, love and music will live on in all who knew him.
