Robert Donald Ingram

Robert D. Ingram, 85, of Hilltown passed into the arms of the Lord on Thursday, August 20, 2026. Born in Philadelphia on September 2, 1940, he was the son of the late Robert C. and Doris Eleanor (Lawrie) Ingram. He was married to his beloved wife, Judith (Traber) Ingram for 64 years.

Robert loved the Lord and his family and friends with a generous heart. He enjoyed all of God’s creation and had many hobbies that included pigeon racing, gardening, oil painting, and time in the great outdoors.

Before retiring Robert was a mechanic for Asplundh and Philco Ford.

In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his children Robert J. (Nancy) Ingram, Jane (Stephen) Detwiler, Gregory (Cheryl) Ingram, Timothy Ingram, Elizabeth (David) Morgan, Glenn (Jennifer) Ingram, 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, his brothers Gary, Randy, Wayne and sister-in-law Sandra Bartholomew, nieces and nephews, and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Rodger.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Finland Mennonite Church, 1750 Ziegler Road, Pennsburg on Saturday September 19th. Visitation will start at 9:00am and services will begin at 11:00am.
