Richard R. Clarke

Richard Clarke, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on August 15th at the age of 82. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, friend, and yinzer. He will be remembered for his hard work, love for family, quick wits, and the quiet strength he carried through life.

Born in 1943, Richard spent much of his life working as a steel metal worker in Pittsburgh, where his dedication and skill reflected the strong spirit of the city he loved. Away from work, he found joy in woodworking, crafting pieces that his family cherished and enjoyed, riding motorcycles with his wife, and always making sure his grandchildren had their broccoli before leaving the house.

Above all, Richard was a family man. He shared 43 years of marriage, 53 years as a couple, with his beloved wife, Dolores, whose companionship was the center of his world. He found his greatest happiness in time spent with his children and grandchildren, whether gathered around the table playing games, drinking frosty glasses of milk, working in his shop, or simply enjoying each other's company.

He will be missed most by Dolores, his loving wife; his daughter Tina Christy, and his grandchildren; Joshua, Christopher, Leslie, and Adam, and many extended family members and friends.
