Nancy E. Jacobs

Nancy Eileen Jacobs, 89, a Doylestown, Pennsylvania resident since April 2026, formerly of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at home surrounded by her family. She was born on May 12, 1937, in Norristown, Pennsylvania, to Robert and Margaret Wiley, who preceded her in death.

Nancy is survived by her three sons, Robert Jacobs of Cape May, New Jersey; Richard Jacobs and his wife, Cindi, of Green Lane, Pennsylvania; and Thomas Jacobs and his wife, Michelle, of Doylestown, Pennsylvania; her sister, Joyce Johnson; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Jacobs; her daughter, Wendy Powers; her son-in-law, Jim Powers; her daughter-in-law, Angela Jacobs; and her sister, Margaret Bogan.

Nancy loved spending time with her family and found great joy in baking, gardening, and crocheting. She especially cherished summers at Lake Wallenpaupack, where she loved teaching her family to water ski and creating memories together. She also enjoyed preparing and sharing her family's favorite recipes, including her macaroni and cheese, Spanish rice, and deviled ham. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family and the many happy memories she created with those she loved.

A private memorial service for Nancy and her husband, Elmer Jacobs, will be held on October 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, where military honors will be rendered in recognition of Elmer's service.
