Melissa Lynn Fountain (Hinds)

Melissa Lynn (nee Hinds) Fountain, 52, of Manalapan, NJ passed away on Sunday September 13, 2026 in Morrisville, PA. Melissa was born in South Amboy, NJ with her twin sister Michele.  Melissa lived the majority of her life in Manalapan Township and raised her children in Jackson, NJ

Melissa was a beloved mother, sister and friend to all she knew.  She loved reading, spending time with friends and family at the family summer home in Seaside Park, NJ and watching her favorite sports teams the NY Jets and the Pittsburgh Penguins attending many games in person of both teams.  She was a sensitive person with a heart of gold who cherished her beloved sons Sean and Christian and her step-son Matthew.  Melissa also shared a unique and unbreakable bond with the twin sister Michele and her other siblings often hosting parties to celebrate birthdays and family milestones.

Melissa is predeceased by her father George L Hinds III and her mother Lois A. Hinds.

 Melissa is survived by her sons; Sean and Christian of Murrells Inlet, SC, her step-son Matthew of South Orange, NJ,  her twin Michele Hinds of Manalapan, NJ, her brother George L. Hinds IV and his wife Danielle of Jackson, NJ, her sister Stacey of Murrells Inlet, SC and her brother Matthew Hinds of Manalapan, NJ.as well as her nieces Kylie, Haylie, Carly, Caitlin and Cassie and her nephews Geroge and Scott.

Funeral services for Melissa will be held privately.
