Mary Ann Teschner

Mary Ann Teschner (Kane), beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025 surrounded by her family, in Hatboro, PA. Born on January 18, 1943, in South Philadelphia to Catherine Marie (McKay) Kane and Ignatius Peter Kane of Ireland, she lived a life that touched the hearts of many.  

Mary Ann was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Sandra Patiri (Angelo Patiri) and Michelle Teschner. She took great pride in her role as a mother and grandmother, always finding joy in moments shared with her family. Her legacy continues through her loving grandchildren, Angelo Patiri (Rachel Patiri), Brittany Chapman, Alexis Patiri, Dominic Patiri, and Noah Hawkins. She has three great-grandchildren, Elliana Patiri, Rockston Patiri, and Greyson Ignatius Todd, who brought immense happiness to her life.

Throughout her later years, Mary Ann faced the challenges of dementia with grace and courage. Her kind heart and selflessness were evident to all who knew her, and her spirit will be fondly remembered by her family and friends.

Mary Ann leaves behind a family that loves her dearly and has been deeply influenced by her loving and compassionate nature. She will be missed but will forever live on in the memories of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her dedication to her family and the love she shared will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

The funeral and mass will be held on November 22, 2025, at 10:00 am, at Mary Ann’s Parish of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, located at 2917 Dickinson St., Philadelphia PA, 19146.
