Mark Daniel Karpowich

Mark Daniel Karpowich, 69, of Yardley, PA, passed away on May 15, 2026.

He was born in Springfield, PA to Betty and Daniel Karpowich in 1956. He graduated Lehigh University in 1978 with a BS in Civil Engineering.

Mark was formerly married to Mary Synnott and together they had 3 children: Sydney Belyayev (Kirill Belyayev) Alexandra Zeuger (Tim Zeuger) and Ian Karpowich. He had two granddaughters who he loved dearly, Yelena Belyayev and Zoya Belyayev. He is survived by his children and their spouses, grandchildren, sisters Joan Martine and Karen McGlynn, nephews Chris Martine, Keith Martine and Matthew McGlynn. He is predeceased by his parents and brother in law Tom Martine.

He was a gifted storyteller who loved sharing memories and making others laugh. He especially enjoyed spotting eagles, falcons and other wildlife. He loved fishing, tending to his garden, listening to music and watching PBS shows. He was always willing to lend a hand to strangers and was known for his kindness and generosity toward others. He will be dearly missed. 

The family will celebrate his life privately.
