Lillian Garges, affectionately known as Lilly, passed away peacefully at her home on April 17, 2026. Born on March 8, 1967, at Doylestown Hospital, Lilly lived a life marked by love, resilience, and an enduring devotion to her family and faith.
A graduate of Pennridge High School with a GED, Lilly found great joy in the simple and meaningful pleasures of life. She was an exceptional baker, creating beautiful cakes that delighted her family and friends; her culinary talents extended to cooking cherished meals enjoyed by all who gathered around her table. An artist at heart, she took great pleasure in painting and embraced the outdoors, finding tranquility in fishing and long walks at Peace Valley. She also embraced moments of joy at casinos and with scratchy tickets, always savoring life’s little thrills.
Lilly was outgoing and loving, characterized by a beautiful smile and a heart big enough to hold everyone close. She taught the importance of forgiveness and releasing negativity, embodying a spirit of kindness and grace. A devoted follower of Jesus, she deepened her faith by being baptized just the week before the Good Lord called her home, embracing her spirituality with profound reverence and peace. A true romantic, Lilly never lost hope for a great love and openly shared that hope with those around her.
Her proudest accomplishment was her family, who were the center and greatest joy of her life. Lilly loved going to the beach with them, swimming at campgrounds, and playing with her grandchildren at the arcades—a testament to the deep bonds she nurtured with each of her loved ones.
Lilly tenderly fought an ongoing battle with cancer, yet she emerged victorious in spirit. Her wish was to spend her final days at home surrounded by family, a wish that was lovingly fulfilled. Her strength and courage were inspiring, and now she rests with her perfect body in Heaven, embraced by her family and her Heavenly Father.
She is survived by her daughter Jessica Suzanne Gacad and son-in-law James Gacad; her granddaughter Kloey Lillian Ryan and granddaughter Mazzy Hope Durham; her son Alexander Louis Zook and daughter-in-law Allison Zook; grandson Alexander Zook; sisters Margarita Jackson and Jessica Walter-Grasso; fiancé Denise Eichlin; fiancé Neil Miller; fiancé Jesse Cole; brother Vincent L. Martinez; brother-in-law Jim Krause; nieces Shelly Zintak, Kaytlyn Pilar Walter, and Jessica Krause; nephews Jeremiah Jackson, Kevin Zintak, Jarod Krause, and Eric Krause; grandnieces Rabecca Zintak, Emma Zintak, Mila Krause; and grandnephew Milo Krause.
Lilly was preceded in death by her father Angel L. Martinez, mother Pilar Martinez, sister Anne R. Krause, and brother Louis Martinez.
Lillian Garges’ life was a radiant example of love, hope, and unshakable faith. She leaves behind a legacy of grace, warmth, and inspiration that will forever be cherished by all who had the honor of knowing her.
