Judy M. Quatrini

Judy Marie (nee Wertz) Quatrini of Hatboro, Pa., passed away at the age of 84 on March 21st, 2026. Born on June 24th, 1941, in Braddock, Pa. (Alleghany County), she was the daughter of George Frederick Wertz and Francis Sarah (nee Roofner) Wertz. Predeceased by her husband of 47 years, John Anthony Quatrini, and her grandchildren, Ryan Newett and Shannon Thompson. She leaves behind her daughters, Lori James and Diana Kensinger (Jerry); grandchildren Amanda Newett and Robert Newett; great-grandchildren Lorelai, Mario, Katelyn, Andrew, Alivia, Kassidy and Carlee. She is survived by her sisters, Karen Kelly (Jack) and Geraldine Petrowski, and brother Dennis Wertz (Betsy). She will be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews, and the many dear friends she has made over the years.

A very beautiful, elegant woman, Judy became a certified beautician and professionally worked as a model in her younger years doing runway in New York City, and was frequently featured in magazines, catalogs and even a television commercial, all while being a mother to the young Lori and Diana. She later became a full-time stylist, owning her own beauty salon at Rydal Park for most of her career. Judy was one of a kind and a real party animal. Judy and her husband John rarely spent a moment apart after they got married. They spent many years together traveling, attending plays, musicals and concerts, spending time with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other family and numerous friends they have made over the years. She enjoyed gardening, beach trips to Cape May during the summer months, dining out and was also heavily involved in Gloria Dei Church congregation. She enjoyed the small things in life – she made a trip to the grocery store or Macy’s seem like a delightful adventure. Judy had the ability to make everyone she met in life feel most important, everyone was her “Special Angel”. She was a welcoming, kind, generous, loving woman and will be forever missed by her family and friends who loved her deeply.

“I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun; Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.”

Services will be announced at a later date.
