Joseph McKenna Jr.

May 15, 1935 – October 15, 2026

Joseph McKenna Jr., 91, of Warminster, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories, laughter, and love.

Born on May 15, 1935, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Joseph was the son of the late Joseph McKenna Sr. and Gertrude (Landis) McKenna.

Joseph proudly served his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, he built a long and dedicated career in engineering, working as a machinist and calibrator. Known for his strong work ethic and attention to detail, he continued working well beyond the traditional retirement age.

Above all else, Joseph was a devoted family man. He shared a lifetime of love and memories with his beloved wife, Janice L. McKenna (née Trindle), who preceded him in death. Together, they built a life centered around family, love, and the simple pleasures that meant the most.

Joseph enjoyed the outdoors and spent many years involved in Boy Scouts alongside his son, Donald. Camping trips, family adventures, and time spent together created memories that would last for generations. He and Janice also enjoyed their trips to Atlantic City.

To those who knew him best, Joseph was much more than a hardworking man and proud veteran. He was a source of laughter, a familiar face at family gatherings, and someone who appreciated life's simple pleasures. Whether enjoying a good Western, sharing a pizza, or happily accepting his role as the family's official cookie tester, he had a way of making ordinary moments unforgettable.

He is survived by his son, Donald McKenna; his grandchildren, Robin McKenna, Jane Duffin, Lisa and Dan Reilly, and Beth McKenna; Gary and Andy Zawistowski; and his great-grandchildren, Natalie, Jayden, Jameson, and Hudson. He also leaves behind extended family members and loved ones who will forever cherish his memory.

In addition to his beloved wife, Janice, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara.

Joseph's legacy lives on in the family he loved, the stories they will continue to tell, and the countless memories they shared. While he will be deeply missed, his love, humor, and spirit will remain with those fortunate enough to have known him.

Funeral services will be held privately by the family.
