Irene T. Gailey (nee Carbohn), a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, was born on December 29, 1939, in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. She passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025, in Warrington, Pennsylvania, leaving a profound legacy of love and kindness that will live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.

Irene's journey through life was marked by cherished moments, as she always prioritized time spent with her family, especially during the holidays. Known for her remarkable culinary skills, her cooking brought everyone together on countless occasions, creating lasting memories around the dinner table. Whether it was a holiday feast or an everyday meal, her food was made with love, and she had a remarkable way of making everyone feel special and welcome.

Having graduated from Lake Noxen High School in 1957, Irene carried the values of hard work and dedication throughout her life. Before retiring, she enjoyed a fulfilling career as a receptionist in a dental office, where her warm smile and friendly demeanor made a lasting impression on her colleagues and patients alike.

Irene’s creative spirit flourished through her passion for crafts, including crocheting, sewing, and needlework. She poured her heart into her projects, often gifting her handmade creations to loved ones, showcasing her thoughtfulness and generosity. A committed volunteer, Irene dedicated her time and talents to various organizations, starting with her early involvement in her children's elementary school. In her later years, she found joy in volunteering at the Ben Wilson Senior Center, and also participated in an afghan group, crafting crocheted blankets for those in need.

Irene is survived by her devoted husband, Jerome Gailey, along with her proud children: Terrie Suozzo, Todd Gailey, and Vicki Turner. She was a cherished grandmother to six grandchildren and a doting great-grandmother to seven great-grandchildren, all of whom were fortunate to experience her boundless love and affection. The presence of Irene will be sorely missed, but her spirit will forever remain intertwined with the lives she touched.

As we remember Irene T. Gailey, we find comfort in recalling her generous heart, her creative talents, and the laughter shared with family. She has left an indelible mark on all our lives, teaching us the true meaning of love, family, and the importance of nurturing the bonds that hold us together.

A celebration of life will be held December, 29, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., at the Hampton Room, 925 Street Rd., Southampton, PA.
