Hoi Thi Vu

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Hoi Thi Vu, who departed this world on February 9, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on May 16, 1960, in Vietnam, Hoi was a shining light to all who knew her and left an indelible mark on the hearts of her family and friends.

A woman of extraordinary warmth and kindness, Hoi had a remarkable ability to bring people together through her love for cooking. Her kitchen was a gathering place, filled with laughter, delicious meals, and cherished memories. With her sweet, loving, and selfless nature, she made everyone feel at home, showering them with affection and care.

In her life, Hoi poured her heart into her family, whom she treasured above all else. She was immensely proud of her five children: Hoai Nguyen, age 43; My Nguyen, age 41; Hong Nguyen, age 38; Nga Nguyen, age 34; and Kelly Nguyen, age 32. They were her joy and inspiration, each carving their paths in the world with the values and love she instilled in them. Hoi delighted in being a grandmother to Aiden, Nathan, Ella, Joie, Theo, and Stevie. She lovingly repurposed old clothing to create unique gifts for her grandchildren, finding joy in crafting treasures that would carry her love into their lives.

Her humility and caring spirit reflected her true essence, and her legacy is intertwined with the values she passed down to her family. Hoi touched countless lives and her influence will be felt for generations to come.

As we remember Hoi Thi Vu, we celebrate a life filled with love, creativity, and unwavering support. Her memories will live on in every meal shared, every piece of clothing transformed, and in the laughter that echoes in the hearts of those she loved so deeply. Though she may no longer walk among us, her spirit remains a guiding light for her beloved family.
