Helen Schulz White will be remembered for the generous, wholehearted love she shared so freely, a love that always made room for one more person. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend, and a relentless source of laughter, comfort, and warmth to all who knew her.

Helen is survived by her beloved husband, Brian Victor White; her cherished son, Matthew Victor White; and her brothers, Stephen Francis Schulz and Richard Charles Schulz. She also leaves behind a wide circle of family and friends who will forever carry her love with them and whose lives were brighter, fuller, and more deeply connected because Helen was in them.

A graduate of California University of Pennsylvania, Helen carried intelligence, determination, and a spirited sense of fun into every part of her life. Above all, she had a rare gift for gathering friends. Helen never met someone who was not a potential friend, and once you became her friend, it was for life. She noticed people, welcomed them, remembered the details that mattered, and made each person feel seen, valued, and as though they truly belonged. If a friend needed her, Helen would drop everything to be there, ready to listen, lend a hand, or simply sit beside them for as long as it took.

Helen treasured being a band mom and found enormous joy in supporting Matthew and the activities that filled his life. She loved the beach, where the people she loved could gather close. She also delighted in long, spirited games of Cards Against Humanity and other games that regularly stretched late into the night and were remembered less for who won than for the laughter that filled the room.

If there was something to be planned, Helen was already halfway through a plan before anyone else even realized one was needed. She brought people together with boundless energy, openhearted generosity, and a remarkable instinct for turning an ordinary gathering into a treasured memory. Whether she was organizing an event, welcoming a new friend, or quietly making sure everyone had what they needed, Helen gave of herself freely, joyfully, and wholeheartedly.

Helen's absence will be felt beyond measure, but so will the love she leaves behind. Her legacy will live on in every friendship strengthened by her kindness, every person who felt seen because she took the time to care, every gathering made warmer by her example, every beach memory, every band performance, and every burst of laughter shared around a table. Those who loved Helen will continue to find her in the ways they show up for one another with generous hearts and the certainty that no friend should ever face life alone.

Celebration of Life

Please join Brian, Matthew, family, and friends for an open-house Celebration of Life honoring Helen on Sunday, September 27, at The Water Wheel Tavern, 4424 Old Easton Road, Doylestown, Pennsylvania.

The celebration will take place from noon to 8:00 p.m. A buffet lunch will be served from noon to 3:00 p.m. Family and friends will be invited to share stories and memories of Helen from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., followed by lighter fare and more time to celebrate her remarkable life with laughter.
