In Loving Memory of Gary Bennett Vosburg, Jr.
Gary Bennett Vosburg, Jr., 48, of Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly surrounded by his loving family on June 25, 2025, in Philadelphia, PA. He was born in Scranton, PA on February 11, 1977. Gary grew up in Moosic, PA and graduated from Riverside High School. He relocated to Bucks County, PA in 2009.
Gary is survived by his father, Gary Bennett Vosburg, Sr., and his devoted wife, Darcy Ross Vosburg, of W. Wyoming, PA. He is also survived by his longtime partner of six years, Allison Reiner of Philadelphia, PA; his brothers, Scott D. Vosburg and his wife Megan (née Ross) of Quakertown, PA, Christopher C. Vosburg of Dickson City, PA, and Eric M. Vosburg and his fiancée, Lindsay Zrudlo, of Avoca, PA; his cherished daughter, Brynn L. Vosburg, and his ex-wife and her mother, Nicole B. Ross, of Rockledge, PA; his paternal grandmother, Shirley Vosburg Cobb of Avoca, PA, and his paternal uncle Delbert L. Vosburg, and his devoted wife, Luann, of Avoca, PA. Gary was a proud uncle to Caden Scott and Della Rae Vosburg, and he leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Julie Vosburg, of Moosic, PA, whose memory he carried with him always. Additionally, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Delbert B. Vosburg of Avoca, PA, and his maternal grandparents, Julius and Rose Marie Janesko, of Moosic, PA.
Gary began his career at American Silk Mills in Plains, PA, where he worked for many years as a dedicated and skilled fabric inspector. Later, he transitioned into the field of wireless telecommunications, where he quickly rose to the role of foreman, earning the respect of his colleagues through his leadership and work ethic.
Gary had a deep love for nature and the outdoors. He especially enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping, finding joy and relaxation in the simplicity of being outside. He was a passionate sports fan, cheering faithfully for the New York Yankees and the Minnesota Vikings. A talented cook and grill master, Gary or Voz, as close friends often called him, was known for hosting lively gatherings filled with delicious food, laughter, and the warmth of family and friends. He had a deep appreciation for music and a wonderful sense of humor — always ready with a joke or playful antic to make others laugh. His joy for life and ability to bring smiles to those around him were among his most cherished qualities.
Gary will be remembered for his strength, his love for family, and the joy he brought into the lives of others. His presence will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
In accordance with Gary’s wishes, he will be cremated. His family will hold a private memorial to honor his life, share cherished memories, and celebrate the love he brought into their lives.
