For over 30 years, Geno balanced the demanding roles of a postal worker for the United States Postal Service and a lineman for the Budd Company in Philadelphia. In his free time, what little he had he owned and operated Geno's Landscaping later in life well into his 80's. His tremendous work ethic and commitment to providing for his family were evident in every aspect of his life. He always made it a priority to ensure that his family had everything they ever needed, demonstrating his unwavering dedication to their well-being.

In his younger years, Eugene briefly enrolled at Wilkes College, where he played football, a reflection of his active nature and love for sports. As a member of the National Guard reserves, he also served his country with pride. Eugene's outdoor spirit was undeniable; he loved working on the land and spent countless hours enjoying nature, no matter the weather conditions.

Known as a gentle giant, Eugene had a warm and welcoming presence that left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His great sense of humor and readiness to lend a helping hand positioned him as a pillar of support within his community and family.
