Warminster PA

Deborah “Debbie” Deb” L. Vickery (Genner), 69, passed away on April 29, 2025, at PENN Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Born in Doylestown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Audrey (Shiron) and Bruce West (beloved stepfather) and her father, Bud Genner.

Debbie was a resident of Warminster, PA, for 27 years. She grew up in the quaint town of Lambertville, NJ, just across the bridge from New Hope, PA. She adored the town she grew up in and loved to share stories with everyone.

Debbie loved the outdoors. Some of her favorite outdoor activities were gardening, bird watching, fishing, boating, and camping. She also loved to cook and anything she made was delicious. Her specialties were mashed potatoes, her mother’s beef barbecue recipe, making vegan soups for her son and sharing home-cooked meals with her friends and neighbors. Debbie also loved animals, especially her dog, Carly and grand-dog, Carson.

Debbie was a waitress and bartender in Bucks and Montgomery counties for many years. She began her waitressing career as a teenager, working for her Uncle Teaberry Rocco during the summer at Villanova Diner in Wildwood, NJ. Debbie was a bartender at Fritz’s Pub in Warminster, PA, and a waitress at the Warrington Motor Lodge, Lochel's in Hatboro, PA, and York Diner in Warminster, PA. Debbie loved serving her communities and was very skilled at doing so!

She was a loving mother to her son Kevin R. Vickery and her daughter Nicole Russell and her husband, Christopher Russell. She is also survived by her loving sister Robin and her husband, Jeff Mason, and her loving brother Bruce West and his wife, Sheila, one niece, Janean McClelland, a great-niece, Hailey McClelland, and three nephews, Bradley and Brian West and Peter Wyckoff.

Debbie will be remembered for many things but mostly for her ability to light up any room she walked into, bringing laughter and smiles to everyone. Debbie will be missed by many!
