Daniel Jay Zehnder, born on September 5, 1987, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at his home in Croydon on February 6, 2026. He leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory forever.

Daniel is survived by his devoted spouse, Chrissy Gallo, and their three beautiful daughters, Alicia Zehnder, Riley Gallo-Zehnder, and Annette Gallo-Zehnder. His brothers, Jesse Zehnder and Michael Zehnder, share in the profound loss of their beloved sibling. Daniel also leaves behind uncles Larry Zehnder (Karen) and Joseph Fusaro (Ann), as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his cherished parents, Karl J. Zehnder and Mary DeSandro-Zehnder, who supported and guided him throughout his life. His legacy continues with the values and love he received from his grandparents, John Joseph, Sr. and Dorothy (nee Connors) Fusaro, and Norman Zehnder and Inez Cheerful Reahm.

Nothing brought him more joy than being “Dad.” Whether he was cheering from the sidelines watching his daughter cheer, playing in the yard or on the trampoline, going to father daughter dances with his oldest, or watching his 3 daughters grow.

A lifelong fan of Philadelphia Eagles, Philadelphia Phillies, Dan rarely missed watching a game. Sundays were for football, summer evenings were for baseball, and he celebrated every win . He passed that same loyalty and love for Philadelphia sports down to his children.

In high school, Dan played both baseball and football. He was a star player and was dedicated to his sports. He also had a deep love for music. He loved the timeless legends Biggie, Tupac, Tim mcgraw, Allen jackson and many other genres of music. Those songs will forever be in the memories he created with the people he loved most.

Above all else, Dan will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family. Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made on those who loved him will last a lifetime.

Burial will be a private
