In Loving Memory of Dale Michael Forchetti

Dale Forchetti, a beloved local sports legend whose heart was as big as his athletic talents, passed away peacefully at his home on June 23, 2026. To know Dale was to love him, and he leaves a profound void in the community and the family he adored.

While history books remember him as a superstar—an All-American Scholastic stand out and All-State split end for the undefeated 1971 Neshaminy football team-Pa State Champs named “Team of the Century”. Dale later went on to sign with the Los Angeles Dodgers after earning a dual sport scholarship to Southern Mississippi. Dale will be remembered most not for the records he broke, but for the depth of his love, his profound resilience, and the quiet simplicity in which he lived. He was a fierce lover of nature, a mentor to many, and completely devoted to his cherished pets.

Above all, Dale’s greatest joy was his family. Dale can now watch from the best seat in the house as his grandchildren carry on his legacy. They, along with his children, were the absolute pride of his life. Dale will never be forgotten.

He was reunited in heaven with his parents, Vincent and Lucette Forchetti.

Dale’s memory will be forever cherished by his children, Luke, Sarah(Michael Poehler), and Jake Forchetti; his adoring grandchildren, Emma Forchetti and Kolton Poehler; his siblings, Ernie (Peggy), Vance (Pamela), Craig, Kirk, Kyle (Caitlyn), and Lucette Forchetti; and his many beloved nieces, nephews, teammates, and friends.

A graveside service will be held on July 31, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery (1215 Super Highway, Langhorne, PA 19047). For close Friends and Family of Dale.
