Brian David Mount

Brian began his life on his family's farm in Princeton Junction, New Jersey. It was on this farm where the values of hard work, dedication, and perseverance were instilled in him from an early age. Even as a young child, Brian was a determined worker, especially when he wasn't getting into tomato throwing matches with his brothers. 

Brian graduated from West Windsor-Plainsboro High School in 1983 and attended the Welder Training & Testing Institute (WTTI) in Allentown, Pennsylvania. A talented welder from a young age, Brian won first place in the State of New Jersey Welding Competition in 1983 while attending Mercer County Vocational Technical School as a welding student. His skill and achievement earned him a full scholarship and helped launch a career built around craftsmanship, welding, and working with his hands.

Throughout his career, Brian worked for Princeton Overhead Door, US Steel, Tri State Frame and Axle, Chronar Corporation, Silvi Concrete, and LRC Inc., a welding robotics company. In 2003, he became the owner and operator of B&B Overhead Doors, a business he proudly operated for more than two decades. Brian took tremendous pride in his work and was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to doing a job right. While he took his work seriously, he also believed there was always room for laughter and enjoyed sharing a joke and a smile with his customers.

Outside of work, Brian enjoyed NASCAR racing, welding, working with tools, and anything that allowed him to use his hands and his mechanical abilities. Above all, however, Brian treasured his family.

Some of Brian’s happiest moments were spent visiting his daughter, Mary, at college. He was incredibly proud of her accomplishments, and the future she is building for herself. His love and pride for Mary were immeasurable, and supporting her education and dreams meant the world to him.

Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Johanne Mount; his father, Thomas Allen Mount; and his brother, Charles “Chip” Ervin.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Antolino Mount; his daughter, Mary Mount; his brothers, Patrick Ervin and his wife, Natasha, of Robbinsville, New Jersey; Alan Mount and his wife, April, of Dublin, Virginia; and Adam Mount of Hillsville, Virginia. He is also survived by his niece, Alexa, and his nephews, Clark and Jarod.

Brian will be remembered as a hardworking and talented man who took great pride in his craft, brought humor into the lives of those around him, and cared deeply for his family. The dedication he brought to his work was surpassed only by the love and pride he had for those closest to him, especially his daughter.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a GoFundMe established to support Brian’s daughter, Mary, as she continues her education and pursues her master’s degree. Brian was deeply proud of Mary’s accomplishments and committed to supporting her education. His unexpected passing has created a significant financial burden for the family. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 10 am until 12 pm, followed by his Memorial Service beginning at 12 pm at American Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1859 Stout Dr, Warminster, PA 18974. A private burial for the family will immediately follow.
