Barbara A. Bruce

Barbara Ann Bruce (nee Malinowski) passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, at her home in Levittown, PA. Born October 25, 1952 in Philadelphia to the late Stephen William Malinowski and Mary "Dolly" Maio, Barbara had very fond memories of growing up closely with her brothers, Stephen William and Philip James Malinowski, grandparents, Wasyl and Klaudia Malinowski, her Uncle John Malinowski (Jennie) and cousins (Anna, John, William, and Harry). On November 30, 1974, Barbara married Frank Gilbert Bruce. They had four children together: Franklin, Arthur, Philip, and Anna.

Barbara eventually moved to Wesley Chapel, FL, where she spent many of her senior years with friends who were like family. In February of 2022, Barbara moved to Bucks County to be closer to her brothers. She had many interests and hobbies, including embroidery, crocheting, playing bingo, and word finder crossword puzzles. Barb was the family historian; she could tell you who every person was in old photographs and their relation. Almost every picture was accompanied by a fond memory or funny story. She was a good conversationalist who was never at a loss for words. Barb didn't have much, but whatever she did have, she happily shared with others.

Barbara enters God's Kingdom, reunited with her family members, including her older brothers, Stephen and Philip. She is survived by her four children, Franklin, Arthur, Philip, and Anna, three grandchildren, her cousins, Anna Kruse and Harry Malinowski (Nancy), and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Services will be held privately, and her final resting place will be at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
